Orders placed at or after 12pm are dispatched on the next dispatch working day, Monday to Thursday. Orders placed after the Thursday cut-off, or on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, normally dispatch on Monday.
All cut-off times are UK local time. Product lead times, busy periods, adverse weather, bank holidays and announced closures can affect dispatch. Check the estimated date for your items in the basket and checkout, and contact us before ordering if the timing is critical.
Free shipping on orders of £40 or more
Free shipping is available when the value of the goods being shipped is £40 or more after discounts, including VAT where applicable. Delivery charges do not count towards this amount. The free service depends on the contents of your basket.

Channel Islands orders containing live bait currently qualify for fast free shipping from £25; non-perishable-only orders qualify from £40. Dispatch and delivery help
Same-day dispatch and the 12pm cut-off
We dispatch Monday to Thursday. Order before 12pm for same-day dispatch where stock and conditions allow. At exactly 12pm and afterwards, orders move to the next dispatch working day. Thursday afternoon and weekend orders normally dispatch on Monday. Check the estimated date in your basket for any product lead time or busy-period delay.
Delivery dates and Special Delivery
Delivery estimates start when your parcel is dispatched, not when you place the order. We send a dispatch notification and tracking details where available. Royal Mail Tracked services and APC Overnight do not guarantee arrival on a particular day.
Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm or 9am offers a timed service where available, subject to Royal Mail's terms, acceptance times and postcode exceptions. Someone must be available to accept the parcel. A guaranteed Saturday delivery is a separate service and is not included automatically. Check Royal Mail's 1pm service information or 9am service information, and contact us before ordering for a fixed deadline.
Receiving live bait and safe-place requests
Please arrange for someone to receive live products and open the parcel promptly. If you miss delivery, use the carrier's tracking information to arrange collection or redelivery as soon as possible.
You can add delivery instructions in the Order Notes at checkout. The carrier may not be able to follow every request. Any safe place for live products must be secure, cool and shaded, away from direct sunlight, greenhouses and extreme temperatures. Special Delivery parcels need someone available to accept them.
Free gifts have a separate threshold
The 500g worm food and 20L worm casts gifts are available from a qualifying goods subtotal of £25, including VAT where applicable, before coupon discounts. Add your chosen gifts in the basket. You may add one of each, up to two gifts per qualifying order. Gifts do not count towards the free-shipping spend.
Delayed delivery or a problem with your order
If your parcel has not arrived after the expected delivery period, or there is a problem with its contents, please contact us by email or text with your order details.
