What is the biggest earthworm?

We think the biggest is the Gippsland worm (Megascolides australis) its found in a small area in the Bass river valley, Victoria, Australia and depending what you read (and believe!) its size ranges from 3 feet to 12 feet. Like a lot of good things, its under threat.
