Any bait can be discussed here, if you are unsure as to the best bait to use, how to prepare it or how to present it, somebody somewhere has the answer!

Which is best?

When the waters are cold at this time of year, which worm would be best for Perch fishing, Dendrobaena or Lob?

This time of year, waters can be high and as such get a lot of worms washed into them, usually it would be lobworms that the fish would be familiar with, so I would think that this is the worm o go with.

Lob tails mate. use a nice 2-3inch tail of lob and chopped worm in a feeder. This method accounted for 7 3lb+, 2 2lb+ and a 1lb+ fish on the last day of the season on the Gread Ouse. Good Luck.

Couldn't help but seeing this!

Thomas I agree with Lob tails are good. I did try an experiment as well and tried some sweet corn.

I know it sounds funny but the catch seemed to be attracted to the yellow cob seeds - may be worth a try as well!
