We supply compost worms as a combination of Tiger worms and Dendrobaena to create a superior worm composting mix, which we call the "Tiger Worm Mix". The Tiger worms are genuine Tiger worms (Brandlings). This mix provides a better overall composting performance than Dendrobaena alone.

Additionally, our prepared bedding material provides an ideal solution to the problems of establishing composting worms, as well as saving you time sourcing and preparing your own materials. The prepared bedding is made from material already processed by worms and refined. It contains an abundance of micro life that immediately innoculates freshly added waste, allowing the worms to start feeding straight away.

Finally, our specially designed worm bedding kits include both composting worms and prepared bedding material combined. Ideal for making a wormery or compost bin. Simply place the combined mix straight into your wormery or compost bin, thus eliminating problems with establishing composting worms in fresh materials.

Prepared Bedding Material

By using our prepared bedding, the problems of sourcing your own materials suitable to set up a wormery and for keeping your worms healthy are virtually eliminated. The prepared bedding is taken from our breeding boxes and graded.
As worms have been living in it, it has a thriving population of bacteria, fungi and microbes in a balanced form that will inoculate new kitchen waste added, and begin the process of decomposition straight away.

In response to customer feed back, we now offer a 'fast start' worm and bedding kit. This is the same as our regular product but has twice the weight of worms, the advantage being the wormery will get off to a much quicker start.
