Fish, Reptile, and Amphibian Feeds
We have a range of worms suitable for feeding fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
The feeding of worms will often be a trigger to breeding and a boost to colouring, particularly in fish. They can also be an essential ingredient in the growth and development in youngsters.
Our White worms are provided in a "culture" medium. This allows them to multiply rapidly providing you with a stock from which you can withdraw amounts for feeding.
Both our mealworms and earthworms are grown and fed on materials that we know are free from harmful chemicals, sprays and pollutants. This ensures they are in the best of nutritional condition when they are used for amphibians and reptiles.
Caster maggots
Caster maggots are good, clean maggots that have been allowed to continue the process of pupating naturally, on dispatch they are at the point of turn, if they are kept in warm conditions on arrival this process will continue, keep them in an enclosed but airy container and a week or so later they will hatch into Bluebottle flies, just right for your fly eating insect, reptile or amphibian!
White worms
White worms are naturally soil dwellers and when grown in a culture (usually some sort of proprietry compost mix) will multiply rapidly, providing you with a lot of White worm.
Our cultures are large ones, this means you can use the worms straight away without having to wait for them to grow on.
Mealworms
Mealworms are an excellent feed as they are high in protein. Mealworms are not suitable for all species or for some small or juvenile lizards. Our mealworms undertake a feeding regime before selling. They are fed a balanced and nutritional diet, including fruit and vegetables! This is beneficial to the mealworms, and ensures they are in the best of nutritional condition when they are used for amphibians and reptiles. We dispatch them in strong plastic containers - not bags, they will have enough Bran included to keep them for a week or more. The containers and lids being of good quality will have many other uses or can be easily recycled.

Cleaned Earthworms
All Earthworms and this includes the Dendrobaena's, are a major source of protein and have many benefits when fed as part of a balanced diet. They contribute significantly to the health and well being of creatures that would normally feed on worms in the wild. Our "Cleaned" earthworms have been specially prepared prior to dispatch. This process cleans the digestive tract of the worm as well as the outside.

Earthworms are delivered by first class post, however, depending on postcode, we may use a next day carrier for the 1kg and above weights. This usually requires a signature on delivery.
