Tumble Weed Wormeries.

The Tumbleweed wormery has been developed and produced in Australia where there is vast experience in composting organic waste using composting worms, it consists of an upper, well ventilated (essential for worms) compartment into which the composting worms and bedding kit (included) is placed, the waste to be composted is then put on in a layer, when the composting worms have eaten this more is added and so on, this top compartment sits on a lower tray and legs which simply catches any drips that may be produced.

We at Worms Direct have tested this product and find it is simple and works really well, it is advisable to keep in a shed or garage in the winter (Australia doesn't have winters!) or preferably indoors in the warmth, providing it is fed correctly there is no smell and the worms will keep working instead of sleeping.
