The "Tumbleweed Worm Breeder"

The "Tumbleweed Worm Breeder"

The "Tumbleweed Worm Breeder" will multiply your stock of Dendrobaena bait worms, these worms live in part soil and part compost, this makes then ideal to be bred in composting conditions, not only do you multiply your stock, giving you a range of worm sizes for fishing but you will also be getting rid of your kitchen waste, paper and cardboard. Using the "Tumbleweed" wormery, this comes complete with bedding material and .5kg of adult breeding Dendrobaena (around 750) When the wormery is set up you add your kitchen waste the same as if you were using it for composting, it is best to allow several months for the worms to settle and breed but the odd few smaller ones removed for that special fishing trip should do no harm, once the population of Dendrobaena has grown then you should have a continuing supply of fresh and inexpensive worms, the best plan would be to allow the worms to breed and compost through the summer months and then use them for the fishing during the winter.

The Tumbleweed Worm Breeder cannot be used for breeding Lobworms, they will not breed in captivity, however, during the colder months of the year, the Tumbleweed Worm Breeder is a good way of keeping Lobworms fresh.
