Earth Worms

Earth worms ( Lumbricus terrestris),our biggest earthworm, they are the large worms with the flat tail that are found in our gardens. They are a deep soil living worm, ideal for the flower and vegetable beds, a no dig and mulching policy should be adopted where these worms are to become established.
If worm casts are considered a problem, do not release into lawn areas.
Earthworms need to be planted on arrival, scattering them over the area will not work. Dig a trowel depth hole, putting in some old compost (not potting or seeding) water, place in a few worms and cover, do this at intervals over the area needing the worms.

Orders for 50 or 100 earthworms are sent by 1st class post, 200 earthworms are sent by Special Delivery and will need signing for, 500 earthworms are sent by carrier and will need a signature on arrival, if you are likely to be out, please make arrangements with a neighbour, the order will not be left on the doorstep.
Orders over 200 cannot be sent to N.I. or offshore islands.
